Exhibition gallery, design store, and café. Isola Design Group’s first physical space in Dubai opens with the collective exhibition “Icons of Tomorrow,” accompanied by two other exhibitions in the Design District

30/10/2025 – On the occasion of Dubai Design Week 2025 (4—9 November 2025), Isola Design Group unveils Isola Space, its first physical venue and a new landmark for the international design community. Isola Space brings together an exhibition gallery, design store, café, workspace areas, and an event venue.

To inaugurate the space, Isola presents the group exhibition “Icons of Tomorrow”, alongside two additional shows in the Dubai Design District — “Heart, Head, Hand” at Double J Collective and “Living Forms” at Sevil Dolmacı Gallery. Through these initiatives, Isola further strengthens its presence in Dubai as a catalyst for design, culture, and innovation, bringing together 40 designers and studios from over 25 countries.

First-of-its-kind for the brand and the Emirati city, Isola Space welcomes the local and international design community: a hybrid environment that reflects the cross-disciplinary nature of the brand. Located at The Lana Promenade, Dorchester Collection, Dubai, only minutes from Dubai Design District, the venue is positioned at the intersection of culture, design, and innovation. Set within Marasi Bay, the landmark waterfront destination envisioned and developed by Dubai’s leading ultra-luxury developer, OMNIYAT, this location anchors the collaboration in a design legacy, linking Isola’s creative presence with OMNIYAT’s commitment to art and culture.

Since we started our journey with Isola in Milan, we have dreamed of creating a dedicated space for our international community of designers, something that could go beyond design weeks and festivals and we could all call home. This vision was one of the reasons we chose to open a branch of our company in Dubai, and now, just one year later, it is becoming reality. Launching Isola Space at The Lana Promenade, one of the city’s most beautiful and prestigious destinations, marks an important milestone for us. It will be a place where our community can come together, exchange ideas, and shape the future of the design industry, but also a source of inspiration for everyone in the Middle East, from design enthusiasts to collectors, who are seeking new experiences and fresh perspectives.” affirms Gabriele Cavallaro, CEO of Isola Design Group.

Conceived as a dynamic and cultural destination, the space designed by Elif Resitoglu, architect and creative director of Isola, becomes a stage for exhibitions, workshops, presentations, and immersive experiences of collaborative design. Isola Space has been envisioned as a lively and ever-evolving showcase, a place where visitors can discover and experience furniture, materials, and forms firsthand.

The project features three unreleased collaborations designed by Isola and produced by Grob Design, Iconico and Obliq. Grob Design presents a capsule collection of modular aluminum tables created for events, working, and dining exclusively for Isola Space; Iconico contributes with playful 3D-printed coffee tables and stools featuring unique lettering; and Obliq provides a unique custom reception desk and three modules for the display in the design store area.

Moreover Isola Space includes numerous collaborations with international brands: ALPI, with the Quadra surfaces by Patricia Urquiola for the café; Armourcoat for the coating of the statement wall; Arper with their iconic seatings; B&T with the modular and sculptural Metric seating; minimalist wooden stackable chairs by Ton for the café and workspace area provided by Montalbano, Sandalyeci’s armchairs and side tables; and Vescom, with double-height curtains in different fabrics. Alongside these, local contributions include Acumen Light for the lighting of the entire space, and Dubai Audio for the hi-fi system.

In addition, at the design store and café area visitors will be able to purchase a selection of independent publications and objects ranging from lamps to tableware accessories, as well as furniture pieces by more than 30 brands and designers such as Alessa Dresel, Alkimista: Mexa, Anton Kuzmin + Ivan Melnichuck, Chinara Darwish, Chroma: Debonademeo, Marino Amodio, Tellurico Design Studio, Creative voyage, Cuaderno Limón, EISS FURNITURE, Elis Monsport, elizevar, Federica Paglia, Federico Stefanovich, Forks Plus, Grob Design, Hardik Gandhi, Joon Hyung Park, Julie Machielsen – CANDOUR Antwerp, Julie Mallet Studio, Iconico, Interesting Times Gang, Lobo Atelier, Lucas Cambier, MANIFESTE, MAHA ALAVI STUDIO, MAIE, Modu Method, MOOQUE / Elmtoli, Muntj Studio, Nini Tchanturia, Obliq, OH RRR MAK, Pots and Pines, Studio Mignone, Studio Roosa Ryhänen, Szymon Keller, Yif Design.

Through the event strategically coinciding with the inauguration of Dubai Design Week, running from November 4th to November 9th, Isola strengthens its position as a strategic hub for the design community, both locally and internationally. This milestone marks a further step in building an increasingly solid dialogue between the creative centers of Milan and Dubai, enhancing a global network developed over more than a decade, now counting over 2.000 designers and studios from 70 different countries, together with numerous collaborations with leading international brands and institutions.
